Logging is an integral part of
ARM processing. The SAS 9.2 ARM interface offers two logging methods, the
SAS logging facility and the ARM log. As the SAS ARM agent collects ARM information
and statistics for the transactions, they are written to the SAS logging facility
or the ARM log. If neither logging method is used, ARM information and statistics
for the transactions are written to the SAS log.
Note: If you perform
a planned installation, then the SAS Deployment Wizard provides logging configuration
files for your SAS servers. You can dynamically adjust thresholds by using
the server manager features of the SAS Management Console. ![[cautionend]](../../../../common/63294/HTML/default/images/cautend.gif)
