There are a number of
configuration changes and variables that you can set to tune the SAS
9.4 middle tier for your performance and scalability needs. The following
sections show how to configure the settings that are relevant to the
SAS 9.4 middle tier and SAS Web Application Server.
Note: For UNIX and Linux operating
environments, you must confirm that the ulimit resource limit for
open file descriptors is set to at least 20480.
