To continue the good work of past conferences, SUGI 30 is sponsoring a Children’s Book Drive to benefit needy children in the local area. To make the book drive a success. SUGI 30 needs your help. Plan to bring new (or gently used) books to the Book Drive table near the SUGI Registration Area during the conference. The books will be distributed afterwards to reading centers in shelters, community centers, and lending libraries in Philadelphia.

To benefit the SUGI Book Drive, performing artists from New York City are donating a special musical and comedy revue for the enjoyment of SUGI 30 attendees. Come enjoy the fun and excitement and support a worthy cause! All proceeds from the evening will benefit children in the Philadelphia area. This event will be held Monday evening from 8:30 – 10 p.m. in Ballroom H of the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown. Admission is a $25 donation, accepted at the Book Drive table, SUGI Registration, or at the door of the event.
