Mark Bailey
Mark Bailey specializes in JMP training and technical services at SAS
Institute. He has fifteen years of research and development experience in
bringing medical diagnostic products, such as a physician's office analyzer
and in-vitro allergy diagnosis, to market. He has led cross-functional
teams through the process of customer-driven product development. In
particular, he promoted the generation and use of business and technical
data to support business decisions and customer calls with applied
statistics and methods such as customer research, Quality Function
Deployment (QFD), Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of
Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC). He has managed a
quality initiative based on the Six Sigma principles of Motorola. Mark
holds a doctoral degree in chemistry from the University of Rochester.

Rick Bell
Rick Bell has been teaching SAS classes for two years as a SAS Technical Training
Specialist. Prior to joining SAS, Rick spent 10 years teaching secondary high
school Mathematics and Computer Programming in both private and public school
systems. Rick holds a Master's degree in Operations Research from North Carolina
State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Monmouth University.

Michelle Buchecker
Michelle Buchecker, the Regional Education Manager for the Chicago office,
has been an instructor at SAS for over 10 years. Her specialties include
BASE SAS, Macro, SAS/Connect, SAS/Access, and report writing. Previously,
Michelle was a SAS programmer at IBM reading SMF mainframe data.

Davetta Dunlap
Davetta Dunlap, a SAS Technical Training Specialist, is an experienced user of nearly 14 years. She has over seven years experience with SAS Technical Training and three years experience with Research and Development. Prior to joining SAS, Davetta worked in the Pharmaceutical and clinical trials Industry as an Assistant Biostatistician. Davetta holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Michele Ensor
Michele Ensor, a SAS instructor for more than 5 years, has been using SAS for over
9 years. Her specialties include BASE SAS, Macro, ODS, and report writing. Prior
to joining SAS, Michele worked for Michelin Tire Company utilizing SAS for quality
control. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the
University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration from Clemson
University.

Susan Farmer
Susan Farmer, currently the Curriculum Project Manager for Data
Warehousing, joined the Education Division of SAS in 1989. She works out of
the Phoenix, Arizona regional office. Susan is a certified SAS instructor
and has held other roles in Education including Regional Education Manager
and course developer for SAS Programming III: Advanced Techniques. Her
specialty is DATA step programming.

Marc Huber
Marc has been teaching statistics classes at SAS since 2004. He is also a
research biostatistician at UNC-Chapel Hill in the Collaborative Studies
Coordinating Center, working on multi-site clinical trials and
epidemiological surveys. Marc earned two masters degrees from UNC-Chapel
Hill, one in quantitative psychology and another in social work.

Linda Jolley
Linda Jolley has been an instructor at SAS for over five years. A
SAS Certified Professional, she teaches all of the courses in the
Base SAS curriculum, specializing in SAS/Access. She has over
twenty years of SAS experience providing application design and
programming, consulting and training in the chemical, textile and
electric utility industries.

Kathy Kiraly
Kathy Kiraly, the Core Curriculum Manager for the Education Division at
SAS, is responsible for developing and teaching courses featuring DATA step
programming, data access, and the SQL procedure. She has been an instructor
since 1993 and a SAS user for over 15 years. Kathy is a SAS Certified
Professional and holds a master's degree in business administration from
East Carolina University.

Marjorie Lampton
Marjorie Lampton has been teaching SAS classes for eight years as a SAS
Technical Training Specialist. Prior to joining SAS, Marjorie taught
Mathematics and Computer Programming at secondary and college levels. Her
career has also included various positions including application
programmer, research analyst, and quality specialist. Marjorie holds a
Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of
Missouri-Columbia and a Master's degree in Education from the University of
Missouri-Kansas City. In addition, she has completed graduate-level work in
Adult Education at Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Ted Meleky
Ted Meleky has been an instructor at SAS for nearly 8 years. His
specialties include Base SAS, Macro, SQL, report writing, and
SAS/AF. Prior to joining SAS, Ted was involved in several varied
industries, including state government and telecommunications.
His SAS experience extends over 17 years with corporations such as
Lockheed-Martin and The Coca-Cola Company. He holds a Bachelor's
degree in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut and a
Master of Science in Meteorology from Florida State University.

Cynthia Zender
Cynthia Zender, the ODS and Report Writing Curriculum Manager, has been using SAS
for over 20 years and is responsible for the ODS curriculum development, including
topics that range from introductory ODS to advanced topics such as ODS and XML.
Cynthia divides her time between instructing and curriculum development. Cynthia
is a SAS Certified Professional. Prior to joining SAS, she worked with a variety
of industries using SAS for application development and report writing.
