Fraud costs the property and casualty insurance industry to lose over 25 billion dollars(USD)annually. This lecture uses text mining and predictive modeling to provide analytic solutions to the insurance fraud problem.

- derive a fraud model using SAS Enterprise Miner
- rank insurance claims based on probability of fraud combined with expected loss using a two-stage fraud model.

their instructor and fellow classmates in real time. Each student receives an e-mail
