Prerequisites
Before selecting this course, you should be able to
- submit SAS programs on your operating system
- understand how to access SAS files using the LIBNAME statement and identify external files using fully qualified pathnames, such as in the FILENAME statement
- create SAS output
- use the basic features of Base SAS procedures.
You can obtain this SAS experience by completing the
SAS Programming 1: Essentials course. Students are also expected to have a working knowledge of HTML, XML, and related markup concepts that can be obtained from various publications, Web sites, and/or third-party training programs.
