SAS Learning Edition Discussion Group Code of Conduct
Participants in the SAS Learning Edition Discussion Group must read and agree to abide by the following Code of Conduct
to retain access rights to the discussion group.
SAS provides this discussion group for the benefit of users of the SAS Learning Edition product. The purpose of the
SAS Learning Edition Discussion Group is to enable participants to:
- Exchange information and experiences relating to the SAS Learning Edition.
- Offer advice and share knowledge and experiences.
- Learn from one another to enhance their experience with the SAS Learning Edition.
The SAS Learning Edition Discussion Group is not a forum to vent opinions about or slander SAS,
its products or other topics. The following list outlines the behavior and message posting guidelines
for this discussion group:
Prohibited Activities
- Using the discussion group in connection with surveys, contests, chain letters, junk e-mail, spamming or any duplicative or unsolicited messages (commercial or otherwise).
- Defaming, abusing, harassing, threatening or otherwise violating the legal rights, such as rights of privacy and publicity, of others.
- Publishing, posting, uploading, distributing or disseminating any inappropriate, profane, obscene, indecent or unlawful material or information.
- Using any material or information on the discussion group in any way that infringes a copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other proprietary right of another party.
- Uploading or attaching files that contain viruses or any other similar programs.
- Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose.
- Harvesting or otherwise collecting information about others, including e-mail addresses.
- Violating the applicable laws or regulations.
- Creating a false identity for the purpose of misleading others.
Be considerate of your fellow discussion group members, and provide valuable and pertinent input into the discussion group only.
Avoid rants about dissatisfaction you may have, as this helps no one.
SAS has no obligation to monitor the discussion group. However, SAS reserves the right to review materials posted to the
discussion group and to remove any materials in its sole discretion.
