Professional experience:
Dan comes to SAS following 21 years with The Dow Chemical Co., where he was a Six Sigma Technology Leader and certified Master Black Belt. He was also a consulting statistician at Dow, with particular support in R&D, consumer products and emulsion polymers, and the company's statistical software contact since 1990.

What is your favorite training course and why?
I really enjoy teaching the JMP Software: Design and Analysis of Mixture Experiments course. This is a unique course that takes many familiar concepts and modifies them in subtle ways for the constraint encountered with mixture experiments.

What is your favorite place or dream vacation destination?
I really enjoy taking vacations to Disney World. There are always new things to see and do there, and they really know how to take care of their customers.

Are you passionate about a particular sports team?
I root for all of the professional teams from Cleveland, but am especially passionate about the Cleveland Indians baseball team and The Ohio State Buckeyes.
