Pardon the noise and dust

Construction of a new building in our parking lot will not affect our underground parking accessible from both Middle Lane and Rockville Pike.

Class Info

You can check in and pick up your course materials beginning at 8:30am. Classes start at 9am and end by 5pm each day. If the schedule is different, it will be noted on the Web as well as in your confirmation e-mail.

Photo ID: For security purposes, please be prepared to show a photo ID. You may have to check in at the security desk in the building lobby before proceeding to the SAS training facility.
No recording devices: Recording devices, including video and audio, are not permitted in the classroom.
Cell phones: Students are asked to turn cell phones and pagers off or to set them to vibrate.
Courtesy phones: Phones are available as a courtesy for our students. Please be considerate and limit your calls to approximately 5 minutes.
Children/guests: Attendees are not allowed to have children or guests accompany them in the training facility.
Room temperature: Classroom temperatures do fluctuate. Please bring a light jacket or sweater to ensure your comfort level.

SAS is a tobacco-free company

Smoking or the use of smokeless tobacco products is prohibited in SAS buildings, in company or personal vehicles, or anywhere on the SAS World Headquarters campus.

Meals

A continental breakfast is provided each day as part of the course fee. Classes will break for lunch around 12 noon; however, lunch is not provided. You will receive a list of convenient restaurants within walking distance.

Emergencies

In case of emergency, your family or coworkers can leave you a message during class hours by calling the Training Center Receptionist at 301-838-7030.

In case of inclement weather, please call ahead for information on delayed openings or cancellations.

Directions

Please note: Many GPS and commercial mapping applications (ie, Google Map, etc.) do not map 111 Rockville Pike correctly. Please reference our map for accurate directions.

You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the SAS training course. Contact information is available for various forms of transportation.

The training center is located in the Rockville Metro Plaza I, one block north of the Montgomery County Courthouse at 111 Rockville Pike, on the 10^th floor of the building.

Driving Directions
From North (Gaithersburg, Germantown, Frederick) via highway

South on I-270 (local lanes)
Take Exit 5, Falls Road, toward Rockville Town Center
Proceed through the first stop light. Falls Road becomes Maryland Avenue.
Get in the left lane and continue on Maryland Avenue.
Take a right on East Middle Lane.
Take the first left into the entrance for the parking lot.

From South/beltway via highway

North on I-270 (local lanes).
Take Exit 5, Falls Road, toward Rockville Town Center.
Proceed through the first stop light. Falls Road becomes Maryland Avenue.
Get in the left lane and continue on Maryland Avenue until it dead ends.
Take a right on East Middle Lane.
Take the first left into the entrance for the parking lot.

From North via Rt. 355 (Hungerford Drive)

Continue on Rt. 355 South.
After you drive past Beall Avenue and Merchants Tire Center, take the next right onto East Middle Lane.
Then take the first right into our parking lot. Note that if you miss the turn onto East Middle Lane, Hungerford Drive immediately changes names to Rockville Pike.

From South via Rt. 355 (Rockville Pike)

Continue on Rt. 355 North.
After you drive past Rockville Metro Station on your right and a pedestrian walkway above the street, take the next left onto East Middle Lane.
Take the first right into our parking lot. Note that if you miss the turn onto East Middle Lane, Rockville Pike immediately changes names to Hungerford Drive.

Parking for Rockville Metro Plaza I is next to and under the building and will cost $7 if you arrive before 9am (max. $10 otherwise). At this time, SAS does not validate parking. On garage level P5, there is no elevator access and stairs are required to reach the building lobby.

Handicap/Wheelchair Access: Handicap parking spaces are available in the exterior parking lot and at each level of the covered parking garage, with the exception of P5, which is stair access only. If you require wheelchair access, we would suggest parking in the parking garage at the lobby level. The building elevator is accessible from the top of the wheelchair ramp on the lobby level of the parking garage.

By Metro
Red Line

Take Red Line toward Shady Grove.
Get off train at the Rockville Metro Stop.
Exit station to the left.
Take the right staircase and walk to the intersection of Park Rd and Hwy 355 on your right (Hwy 355 is also called Rockville Pike and Hungerford Dr).
Cross Hwy 355. Our building is located directly to your right on the northwest corner of East Middle Lane and Hwy 355. Note that Park Rd changes names to East Middle Lane after crossing Hwy 355.

Alternatively, you can use the pedestrian walkway from the Metro station to cross Hwy 355. After walking through the walkway and down the steps, make a right onto Monroe St. Continue walking one block and you will see our building directly in front of you on the northwest corner of East Middle Lane and Hwy 355. Cross East Middle Lane and walk across the parking lot or along the sidewalk to our building.

Blue/Orange Line

Take Metro to Metro Center.
Get off train and transfer to Red Line toward Shady Grove.
Follow Red Line instructions above.

Green/Yellow Line

Take Green/Yellow Line to Gallery Place/Chinatown.
Get off train and transfer to Red Line toward Shady Grove.
Follow Red Line instructions above.
