Course Schedule and Location Information
Class Info
You can check in and pick up your course materials beginning at 8:30 am. Classes start at 9 am and end by 4 or 5 pm each day.- Photo ID: For security purposes, please be prepared to show a photo ID. You may have to check in at the security desk in the building lobby before proceeding to the SAS training facility.
- No recording devices: Recording devices, including video and audio, are not permitted in the classroom.
- Cell phones: Students are asked to turn cell phones and pagers off or to set them to vibrate.
- Courtesy phones: Training Center phones are available as a courtesy for our students. Please be considerate and limit your calls to approximately 5 minutes.
- Children/guests: Attendees are not allowed to have children or guests accompany them in the training center.
- Room temperature: Classroom temperatures do fluctuate. Please bring a light jacket or sweater to ensure your comfort level.
SAS is a tobacco-free company
Smoking or the use of smokeless tobacco products is prohibited in SAS buildings, in company or personal vehicles, or anywhere on the SAS World Headquarters campus.Meals
A continental breakfast is provided each day as part of the course fee. Classes will break for lunch around 12 noon; however, lunch is not provided.Emergencies
In case of emergency, your family or coworkers can leave you a message during class hours by calling the Training Center Coordinator at 612-349-9023, ext. 236.In case of inclement weather, please call ahead for information on delayed openings or cancellations.
Directions
You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the SAS training course. The recommended hotels adjoin the building through a skyway.Parking is available at
- LaSalle Plaza ($16/day) on 9th St (one-way going west), immediately past LaSalle Ave
- LaSalle Court ($12/day) on LaSalle Ave between 8th & 9th Streets
- Marshall Fields Parking Ramp ($12/day) on 8th Street between Hennepin Ave & LaSalle Ave.
The training center is located on several MCTO bus routes, as well as the Haiwatha Light Rail that runs to/from the airport and the Mall of America. Customers can call 612-373-3333 for info or visit www.metrotransit.org.
From the East:
I-94 to the 11th Street exit. Go 5 blocks on 11th Street to LaSalle Avenue. Turn right on LaSalle Avenue and go 2-3 blocks north for parking (LaSalle Ramp, LaSalle Court, Daytons Ramp).
From the South:
I-35W to 65, downtown 5th Avenue exit. Go 2 blocks north on 5th Avenue to 9th Street. Turn left on 9th Street and go 5 blocks to LaSalle Avenue.
From the North:
I-94 to the Dunwoody/Hennepin exit. Turn left at the first stoplight - this is Hennepin Avenue. Go 10 blocks north to 8th Street. Turn right on 8th Street for parking (LaSalle Ramp, LaSalle Court, Daytons Ramp).
From the West:
I-394 to the downtown exits. Take 6th Street North. Continue 1 block to 1st Avenue and turn right on 1st Avenue. Go to 8th Street and turn left. Go 2 blocks to LaSalle Avenue for parking (LaSalle Ramp, LaSalle Court, Daytons Ramp).
