Course Schedule and Location Information
Class Info
You can check in and pick up your course materials beginning at 8:30 am. Classes start at 9 am and end by 4 or 5 pm each day.- Photo ID: For security purposes, please be prepared to show a photo ID. You may have to check in at the security desk in the building lobby before proceeding to the SAS training facility.
- No recording devices: Recording devices, including video and audio, are not permitted in the classroom.
- Cell phones: Students are asked to turn cell phones and pagers off or to set them to vibrate.
- Courtesy phones: Training Center phones are available as a courtesy for our students. Please be considerate and limit your calls to approximately 5 minutes.
- Children/guests: Attendees are not allowed to have children or guests accompany them in the training center.
- Room temperature: Classroom temperatures do fluctuate. Please bring a light jacket or sweater to ensure your comfort level.
SAS is a tobacco-free company
Smoking or the use of smokeless tobacco products is prohibited in SAS buildings, in company or personal vehicles, or anywhere on the SAS World Headquarters campus.Meals
A continental breakfast is provided each day as part of the course fee. Classes will break for lunch around 12 noon; however, lunch is not provided.Emergencies
In case of emergency, your family and coworkers can leave you a message during class hours by calling the Training Center Coordinator at 305-381-9980.In case of inclement weather, please call ahead for information on delayed openings or cancellations.
Directions
You are responsible for your own transportation to and from the SAS training course. Super Shuttle (305-871-2000) provides transportation to and from the Miami International Airport. The cost is $9.00 per person, one way.From the airport
- Exit terminal & follow "Exit to City" signs
- Stay on your left following the sign: #1- 836 East to 95 South (downtown)
- Go straight for about ¾ mile
- At the second traffic light, Douglas Road/37th Ave, turn right
- Go straight on Douglas Road
- After passing the second traffic light, turn left onto "836 East - 95"
- Follow 836 East for about 3 miles until you see a sign that reads "Downtown - Miami"
- After toll booth (75 cents), follow the sign "95 South Downtown"
- Exit will be from the right lane
- As soon as you exit, merge to the left lane and exit at "Biscayne Blvd/Brickell Ave"
- Stay to your right and follow sign to Biscayne Blvd; stay left on Biscayne Blvd
- Go straight through the light at the bottom of the ramp
- Pass one more traffic light
- At stop sign turn left (get in the far left lane)
- Turn left at first light
- Wachovia Finance Center is at 200 South Biscayne Blvd (garage entrance is on your left)
From I-95
- Take the Miami Ave exit (exit #2A Biscayne Blvd/Downtown)
- Turn slight left to take the SE 2nd Ave ramp toward Biscayne Blvd
- Stay straight to go onto SE 3rd St
- Turn left onto US-1/S Biscayne Blvd
Parking: Turn left onto SE 3rd Ave (three Quick Park lots available - $15/day). Wachovia Financial Center parking is $30/day.
One-way trip: $1.25
- Exit at Government Center
- Transfer to the MetroMover (Inner Loop or Omni Loop)
- Exit at Bayfront
- Take escalator/stairs down and Wachovia Financial Center will be directly ahead
