If you are a Power of 3 customer you have agreed to the following guidelines which still apply.

  1. Effective Date: January 1, 2009.
  2. Enrollment in the Power of 3 program is for one individual and is non-transferable.
  3. The Power of 3 program applies only to SAS public training courses at SAS U.S. training centers or Live Web classes. Six Sigma courses (e.g., Manufacturing Process Excellence with Six Sigma), Fast Track Training courses, SAS Merchandise Planning 6.1 Administration, and special events and conferences (e.g., Data Mining Conferences & JMP User Conferences) are not included in the Power of 3 program. Each applicable SAS public training course or Live Web class counts as a single enrollment selection, with the exception of the following courses: ABC Modeling Using SAS Activity-Based Management 6.x, Advanced Analytics for Customer Intelligence Using SAS, Applied Analytics Using SAS Enterprise Miner 5, Credit Risk Modeling Using SAS, Data Mining Techniques: Theory and Practice, Design of Experiments for Direct Marketing, Exploratory Analysis for Large and Complex Problems, Exploratory Data Mining with Application to Life and Social Sciences, Forecasting Using SAS Software: A Programming Approach, Introduction to Applied Econometrics, Longitudinal Data Analysis with Discrete and Continuous Responses, Mixed Models Analyses Using SAS, Multivariate Statistical Methods: Practical Research Applications, SAS IT Resource Management: Administration and Reporting, Survival Data Mining: Predictive Hazard Modeling for Customer History Data. These courses will count as two of your three enrollment selections.
  4. A Power of 3 program welcome notification will be sent to each customer after full payment has been received. The welcome notification will include the customer's unique program account number. Customers may begin to register for courses upon receipt of their program account number. Customers may contact a SAS curriculum consultant for training path assistance at 800-333-7660.

    For the Power of 3 program purchased with the SAS Certification add-on option, an exam voucher will be sent to each customer with their welcome notification after full payment. The SAS Certification exam add-on option applies to all exams with the exception of the Predictive Modeling Using SAS Enterprise Miner 5 Exam.
  5. Power of 3 customers have 18 months from the date payment is received by SAS to complete all courses.
  6. The heated travel mug will be shipped after full payment has been received by SAS. Please allow approximately 3 - 4 weeks for delivery.
  7. Not all courses are offered at every SAS U.S. public training center or in the Live Web environment. Customers should check the availability of courses and schedules by accessing the World Wide Web at support.sas.com/training or calling 800-333-7660.
  8. No other discounts, offers or promotions are applicable, with the exception of the SAS Certification exam add-on option.
  9. Class size is limited and space is not guaranteed.
  10. To receive maximum benefit, Power of 3 program customers are strongly encouraged to meet course prerequisites before attending a course.
  11. Course notes and other printed course-related materials will only be distributed to Power of 3 program customers who register for, attend, and complete classroom training.
  12. SAS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any public or Live Web course at any time. SAS is not responsible for airline penalties related to the cancellation of SAS courses or events. Please be aware of all airline restrictions regarding nonrefundable airline tickets when purchasing an airline ticket.
  13. Power of 3 program customers can cancel course registrations without penalty if notification is received by SAS by phone, mail or e-mail at least 8 calendar days prior to the scheduled start date of the course. Course registration cancellations received by SAS within 7 calendar days of the course start date are subject to a cancellation charge equal to the course credit used to register for the course. Transfers to another course offering are accepted, but they must be received no later than 24 hours from the start date of the course, and students are only allowed one transfer per course. Student substitutions are not allowed at any time as the Power of 3 program is not transferable.
  14. Failure to comply with all guidelines may result in cancellation of the customer's Power of 3 program.
  15. Prices, guidelines and course schedules are subject to change without notice.
  16. If you are a government employee and cannot accept gifts from vendors, then the free heated travel mug offer is not applicable.
  17. Offer expires July 31, 2009, but Power of 3 customers have 18 months from the date payment is received to complete all courses. Please refer all warranty questions concerning the heated travel mug to SAS Institute Inc. All warranties expire December 31, 2009.
