Warranty Analysis

SAS Warranty Analysis training teaches you to select warranty claim and product data, perform analysis on this data, and interpret the analysis. In addition, you learn how to navigate the SAS Warranty Analysis application, to export reports to PDF and spreadsheets, and to publish reports for other warranty analysts and business decision-makers. You also learn how to interpret Emerging Issues analyses, enabling you to determine the root cause of warranty issues faster than ever before.

Step 1: Start here	This course satisfies the training needs for the Warranty Information Consumer. The Warranty Information Consumer is allowed access into the thin client functionality, including viewing reports and emerging issues.

Warranty Data Analyst I am granted the same access as the Warranty Information Consumer and also have access to the rich client, except for administrative and data selection creation.	Step 2: Take the Introduction to SAS Business Intelligence for Reporting and Analysis course Step 3: Then take courses in the Business User path.
Warranty Data Administrator I am granted the same access as the Warranty Data Analyst plus I have access to the data selection creation functionality in the rich client.	Step 2: Take the same training as the Warranty Data Analyst. Step 3: Then, take the training for your software needs: SAS Enterprise Guide users should follow the Statistical Analyst path. (Statistical Process Control Using SAS/QC Software is also recommended.) SAS Enterprise miner or SAS Text Miner users should follow the Data Miner path.
Warranty EI Administrator I am granted the same access as the Warranty Data Administrator plus I have access to the Emerging Issues Administration functionality.	Step 2: Read the SAS Warranty Analysis System Administration Guide documentation. Step 3: Then, take the training for your software needs: SAS Enterprise Guide users should follow the Statistical Analyst path. (Statistical Process Control Using SAS/QC Software is recommended.) SAS Enterprise miner or SAS Text Miner users should follow the Data Miner path.
Warranty System Administrator I am granted the same access as the Warranty EI Administrator plus I have access to all Warranty Administration functionality.	Step 2: Read the SAS Warranty Analysis System Administration Guide documentation. Step 3: Then take Using SAS Management Console to Administer SAS 9
Warranty IT Administrator I am responsible for maintaining the SAS Intelligence Platform, SAS Warranty Analysis, and other third party software associated with SAS Warranty Analysis.	Step 2: Take the Introduction to SAS Business Intelligence Applications for Reporting and Analysis course Step 3: Then take the courses in the Platform Administrator path.
Warranty ETL Administrator I am responsible for maintaining the SAS Warranty Analysis data mart and SAS Warranty Analysis ETO processes.	Step 2: Take the courses in the Data Manager path, beginning with the point-and-click approach course, SAS Enterprise Guide 1: Querying and Reporting. Step 3: Then take the Using the SAS Scalable Performance Data Server course.
