On-Site Training Policies & GuidelinesEnrollmentA course description is provided to you for distribution to potential attendees. SAS strongly recommends that only those with the appropriate background participate in the course.Four weeks before a scheduled course, you will be contacted to see if more than 15 students will be attending. An additional fee of $150 per student per day for more than 15 students will be charged. Training will be limited to the number of seats available in a particular facility and no more than 20 students unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by you and SAS. Purchase OrdersCustomer purchase orders will be accepted as an administrative convenience. Terms and conditions not agreed to in writing and signed on behalf of SAS Institute Inc. do not apply.NondisclosureSAS must receive any nondisclosure documents 3 weeks prior to any service. No service provider has the authority to sign a nondisclosure agreement upon arrival for a service.ExpensesTravel expenses for SAS staff are additional. Expenses include round trip coach airfare, rental car including gas or local transportation, hotel and meal expenses.Cancellation PolicyTo cancel training without penalty (25% of the published applicable fee), you must cancel no later than 21 days before the scheduled start date. To cancel, call your Training Services Sales Representative. We will be happy to work with you on alternative dates. Rescheduling training less than 21 days prior to the original start date of the course is considered a cancellation of training and the 25% penalty will be charged.Recording DevicesWith the exception of accommodations made for disabled students, SAS strictly prohibits the use of audio or video recording devices during training sessions.Class RosterA class roster of all attendees must be supplied prior to the course. Diplomas will be sent to you after the course, if requested.Course MaterialsSAS provides one copy of course materials for each attendee. Please note that all course materials are copyrighted and duplication is not permitted.Course HoursStandard course hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, with 15 minute breaks in the morning and afternoon and one hour for lunch. The last day of the course ends at 4 p.m. If this does not fit your normal work schedule, please notify your Training Services Sales Representative to make any necessary changes.Class FacilitiesThe customer is responsible for furnishing all facilities and equipment required to conduct the course, including but not limited to computer terminals, audiovisual equipment, and classroom space. Customer is also responsible for ensuring that the software required for conducting the course is properly licensed, installed, and available for access as necessary during the class.Computer WorkshopsSAS recommends there be no more than 2 students per terminal, PC, or workstation. Workshops are most beneficial when in a central location, convenient to the classroom, so the instructor can interact with the students during the workshop sessions.You will receive a computer tape or diskette that contains workshop data to install before the course begins. Data should be loaded so that students will have read/write access. Installation instructions are also provided. |
