This course teaches you how to write simple SAS programs. The course is a subset of the SAS Programming 1: Essentials course. If you do not plan to write SAS programs and prefer a point-and-click interface to SAS, you should attend the SAS Enterprise Guide 1: Querying and Reporting course.

Prerequisites

No SAS experience or programming experience is required, although you should have some computer experience and the need/desire to learn how to program beyond point-and-click techniques. Specifically, you should be able to

log on and off a computer
use a keyboard or mouse
identify the operating system you use or will use to access SAS.
