EURDFWKX format omits leading zero on 2-digit year display of Y2K dates
|
The EURDFWKXw. format does not display the leading zero for year values
of 2000-2009 when the format width specified produces a 2-digit year.
The EURDFWKXw. format writes international date values in the form:
day-of-week, dd month-name yy (or yyyy). The international language
selection is done by either specifying the DFLANG= SAS system option,
or by using the 3 character language prefix directly on the format name.
The width to produce a 2-digit year depends upon the language selected.
Following is an example that produces the 2-digit Y2K year value withoutthe leading zero:
DATA_NULL_;D='19JAN2001'D;PUT D=ENGDFWKX15.;RUN;
The result of the PUT statement is: D=Fri, 19 Jan 1
