V6-SETINIT-F685
License still expired after successfully applying setinit on Macintosh
|
On a Macintosh system, a setinit may apply correctly, but when SAS is invoked, you will receive a message stating that the license has expired. The problem is somewhat rare, but can be the result of the search path used for accessing the core catalog, core.sct01. On Macintosh systems, the help folder is accessed before the cat folder and if a core.sct01 is in the help folder, it will be opened. The setinit process always updates the core catalog in the cat folder. The solution is to remove any core.sct01 not stored in the cat folder.
