PROC LOAN options do not handle 2-digit years correctly
|
Options in PROC LOAN that permit specification of a date value do not
process the date correctly if a period and a 2-digit year is specified
using the yy:per notation. This is true even if the YEARCUTOFF= option
is specified. For example, if you specify START=02:11, PROC LOAN will
assume the starting date of the loan to be November 1, 1902. Other
options that use date specifications include PREPAYMENTS=, AT=,
ESTIMATEDCASE=, and BUYDOWNRATES=.
To circumvent the problem, use 4-digit years in all date specifications.
THIS IS A YEAR 2000 READINESS DISCLOSURE.
