ShareNet Exception: Wqeopen.sendrecv using JDBC to SHARE*NET server

The following error may be encountered connecting to a SHARE*NET
server when the client is a JDBC client.
ShareNet Exception: Wqeopen.sendrecv: server won't accept
connection
This problem has been seen when the SHARE*NET server is running
on ALPHA/VMS, Digital Unix or a Macintosh operating system.
There is no circumvention
