V6-OPERATE-D790 Error: Bus Error captured in task 'OPERATE'

A UNIX secured SAS SHARE*Net server may experience the following error:

      ERROR:  Bus Error Captured in task 'OPERATE'.
      ERROR:  Generic Critical error.

The UNIX secured SAS SHARE*Net server will experience this error when an ODBC client is attached to a shared SAS library and the library is stopped by way of the PROC OPERATE STOP LIBRARY command. The PROC OPERATE client session will experience the following error:

      ERROR:  attempt to communicate with server xxxx refused by server.
              The current request failed.
