V6-SYS.SASIO-D256
Errors/crashes may occur updating catalog entries from SASHELP library
|
Errors may be received, or SAS may abnormally terminate, when
attempting to update a catalog entry that was originally stored in
the SASHELP library. The problems are due to an underlying
catalog I/O problem that was intended to save space in the SASHELP
library. However, if a catalog in SASHELP is updated, or if the
catalog was copied from SASHELP to another library and the copy was
subsequently updated, a variety of error messages may be received.
In certain situations, SAS may also abnormally terminate.
This problem is fixed in TS455 of Release 6.09E for MVS, VMS and CMS,
TS040 of Release 6.12 for the MAC and OSF/AXP, and TS045 of Release
6.12 for remaining operating systems.
