SYMGET in WHERE with DATA step view executes at view creation
|
Beginning in Release 6.12, using SYMGET within a WHERE clause may
produce incorrect results when used in a DATA step view or stored DATA
step program. Specifically, the macro variable referenced in SYMGET is
incorrectly evaluated when the view or stored program is created, not
when the view is referenced or the stored program is executed.
This problem is corrected at TSLEVEL 045 of Release 6.12 and beyond.
