READONLY access to DEC's Rdb using the Query Window

The READONLY option is used in the CONNECT statement of the SQL
Procedure Pass-Through facility. It enables you to use a PROC SQL view
without locking other users out of the table.
Beginning with Release 6.12 TSLEVEL 020, the READONLY option has been
added to the CONNECT statement, therefore all queries built with the
Query Window against Rdb will have read only access.
