Incomplete data set may be generated if memory is scarce
|
In some cases where memory is severely constrained, the MEANS and
SUMMARY procedures may not write all observations to the output data
set. No notes, warnings, or errors are issued in this case to bring
attention to the problem, although a return code of 8 does result. To
avoid the problem, be sure the MEMSIZE= system option is set
sufficiently high (12 to 14 Meg is recommended).
