Usage Note 21129: Formula in SASĀ® Financial Management Data-entry table changes from simple cell reference to complex CDAGet formula
If you are working in a SAS Financial Management Data-entry table and
you enter a simple reference to another cell within the table, such as
=C25
that simple cell reference is converted to a SAS Financial Management
formula that might resemble
=(CDAGet,"Dimension1 member", "Dimension2 member", "Dimension3
member"...)
In the above formula, the dimension members represent all of the
specific members of the SAS Financial Management model hierarchy that
define the value of crossings represented by the cell C25.
It is necessary for SAS Financial Management to convert the simple cell
reference into a CDAGet formula as the simple cell reference is a
relative reference; that is, the table might be modified and the result
might be that cell C25 references a value/crossing other than what was in
that cell when the formula was initially entered.
