Usage Note 20863: "An error has occurred and has been logged" when downloading spreadsheet
When attempting to download a Microsoft Excel sample spreadsheet for
FinancialImpacts in SAS Oprisk Monitor 3.4, the download fails if there
are more than 255 columns in the spreadsheet. You will see the
following message:
An error has occurred and has been logged.
You cannot have more than 255 columns in a given row (IV).
There are two possible workarounds to this problem:
1. Create your spreadsheet manually.
a. Open up Microsoft Excel
b. Name the worksheet FinancialImpacts
c. The following column names are mandatory and must exist in your
worksheet with data values:
financialImpact.impactShortDesc
financialImpact.impactDesc
d. The following column names are suggested so the data you load has
better meaning:
financialImpact.impactTypeCd
financialImpact.sourceSystemCd and financialImpact.financialImpactId,
OR
financialImpact.referenceNo
e. The columns can be viewed and copied from the GUI. Log on to SAS
Oprisk Monitor 3.4.
Select link "dataload"
Select link "View Available Loaders"
Select link "FinancialImpacts"
This will show you a list and description of all the available columns.
2. You can download a sample, locale independent spreadsheet for
FinancialImpacts from the customer site, as documented in the SAS
Oprisk Monitor 3.4 Roadmap.
