Usage Note 16510: SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office and SAS Enterprise Guide might fail to
install or work with Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0
The SAS Add-in for Microsoft Office 1.x and SAS Enterprise Guide 3.x
might fail to install or work when Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 is
installed on your PC. If the Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 is installed
after these products are installed, the menus exist but fail to run
anything or the SAS icon is missing from the menu selection.
To circumvent the problem, install Microsoft .Net 1.1, which is the
release that is supported under these products. These versions can
co-exist.
