Problem Note 10467: Copying and pasting communication details in the Campaign Reference Data
screen may not work
If you try to copy and paste communication details in the Campaign
Reference data screen of the SAS Campaign Management component, the
information may fail to copy properly.
First of all, note that if the AUTOCOMMCODE configuration option is set,
you may only copy details from the Communication Name column onwards,
and not from the beginning of the communication row.
To copy multiple cells to the clipboard, you should select the cells to
copy and select Copy from the Edit menu. You cannot use the context menu
copy accessible from a right mouse button click as this deselects the
cells and returns focus to a single cell. Because of this behavior the
context menu has been disabled if the right mouse button is clicked and
a range of cells has been selected. To copy a single cell, however, you
can click on it and RMB to use the context menu copy.
To paste multiple cells from the clipboard, you must select the cell you
want to be the top left hand corner of the pasted area, either by
clicking on the cell or by moving the selection cursor to the cell, then
choose Paste from the Edit menu. You cannot use the context menu paste
item accessible from a RMB click, as this deselects the cells and
returns focus to a single cell. Because of this behavior the context
menu has been disabled if the right mouse button is clicked and a range
of cells has been selected.
You may also paste a subset of cells from the clipboard into a
specified range of cells in the grid. To do this, select the set of
cells you wish to copy into, and then choose Paste from the
Edit menu. Only the row and column data that corresponds to the range
of cells you have pre-selected will be pasted into the grid. As above,
the context menu is disabled in this situation.
