Problem Note 10463: It is not possible to enforce the creation of contact history or export
records
In the SAS Campaign Management component, there is no way to force the
creation of contact history or export records when you run a
communication. While there is a setting to create contact history and
export records as default, you cannot prevent users from disabling this
feature.
Beginning with release 7.5 of Campaign Management, there is a new
configuration setting, 'OutboundDataEditable' that allows you to control
whether the state of the contact history and export checkboxes can be
altered by users. This can be set with the same set of values as
'OutboundDataDefaults' which are:
BOTH/CH/EXPORT/NEITHER
meaning both editable/Contact History editable/Export editable/Neither
editable.
