Problem Note 8808: CommStatus does not get updated when no export is performed
If you run a communication using the SAS Campaign Management Component,
and choose to have Contact History updated but do not Export, then the
status in the CommStatus field does not get updated. It remains set to
START.
To work around this problem, either:
1. Define an interface definition that only exports the key field from
the root table and use the sampling table to limit the export to a
single row, and use this export definition for the communication.
Because an export is executed, the CommStatus will be updated to
'OUT', but the export is so small it will require minimal resources.
or
2. Create a trigger in the database that will activate when the Contact
History is updated and will update the CommStatus field.
