Problem Note 8807: Cell Split groupings are skewed due to sorting on key field
When running a Cell Split, the SAS Campaign Management Component uses an
algorithm which involves reevaluating the groupings in order to ensure
the appropriate group sizes. Prior to redistributing the records, the
data is ordered on the primary key field. Then, records are added to
the groups in the order they are retrieved, which is no longer random.
This may cause the resulting record distribution to be skewed, with more
records with low key values in the first group, and so on.
There is currently no circumvention for this problem.
