Problem Note 8393: Selection rule with dynamic model is incorrectly forced to be a static
list
If one of the criteria in a Selection Rule in the SAS Campaign
Management Component references a dynamic model and if that criteria
spans two or more lines, then the application incorrectly assumes that
the second line of the criterion is a non-model set and forces the rule
to become a static list.
For example, if your query is similar to:
Select Clients where age in range 18 to 30
and for [dynamic model] where intscore=.5
or intscore=.7
The Campaign Management Component checks to see if a non-model set
follows a dynamic model set. If it does, then the rule is set to be a
static list. In the example above, the application incorrectly
interprets the 'OR' condition on the dynamic model set to be a
non-model set and incorrectly changes it to be a static list.
