Problem Note 7212: INFORMIX table names cannot be longer than 18 characters when using
the LIBNAME Access method
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Informix supports table and column names only
up to 18 characters when using the LIBNAME Access method. You can
query tables and columns names longer than 18 characters using
PROC SQL Passthrough.
The maximum length for table and column names supported by the LIBNAME
access method has been increased to 32 characters in SAS 9.
