Problem Note 5397: CURSOR statement or _CURSOR method not honored on text entry control
when using INITCMD to display the FRAME
If you open a SAS/AF FRAME entry using the INITCMD statement and in the
INIT section of the FRAME's SCL program, you use a CURSOR statement or
the _CURSOR method to place the cursor into a text entry component, the
cursor may not display in the text entry field.
In order to see the cursor, the user will have to click in the field or
press some keystroke such as the ENTER key. Another option is to use
the Version 6 legacy Text Entry class rather than the text entry
control. If you use the Version 6 Text Entry class, the cursor will
display.
