Usage Note 4228: Default value for READBUFF= option increased from 25 to 250 in Release
8.2 of the SAS System
Starting with Release 8.2 of the SAS System, the default value of the
READBUFF= option has been increased to 250.
The READBUFF= option specifies the number of rows in a single Oracle
fetch. Having this option set to a low value may result in performance
problems when accessing data in your Oracle database.
READBUFF= can also be specified with the BUFFSIZE= alias.
