Problem Note 4006: Problems creating numeric variable in DB2 on VM via PROC DBLOAD using
DRDA
DB2 Server for VM (SQL/DS) supports the data type DOUBLE PRECISION
instead of the data type DOUBLE. When using PROC DBLOAD to create a
DB2 table on VM via DRDA, an error occurs if the SAS data set contains
a numeric variable. The code generated passes the data type DOUBLE
instead of the correct data type DOUBLE PRECISION. The following
error (or one very similiar) is produced:
ERROR: CLI execute error: [IBM][CLI Driver][SQLDS/VM] SQL0104N An
unexpected token "," was found following "DOUBLE". Expected
tokens may include: "". SQLSTATE=42601
This problem is fixed in Release 8.2 TSLEVEL 2M0.
