Usage Note 3265: PROC SQL Passthrough may assign an invalid format width when creating
SAS variables from Informix money or decimal tyes
When PROC SQL passthrough is used to create a SAS data set from an
Informix table that contains money or decimal data types, the default
format assigned to the corresponding SAS variables could have an invalid
length.
In a one particular case, PROC SQL assigned the format "dollar34.", even
though "dollar32." is the maximum width allowed for the dollar format.
While this problem is caused by incorrect information passed from
Informix to SAS, steps will be taken to prevent this problem in the
future.
