Problem Note 3160: Dates containing dashes typed incorrectly
When reading a date in the form MM-DD-<YY>YY, DD-MM-<YY>YY or
<YY>YY-MM-DD, the variable's type is assigned incorrectly by the
Import Wizard, EFI, and PROC IMPORT. The variable is given an
INFORMAT and FORMAT of COMMAw.d. The variable should be given
an INFORMAT and FORMAT of MMDDYYw., DDMMYYw. or YYMMDDw.,
respectively.
The circumvention is to recall the generated DATA step code and
modify the INFORMAT and FORMAT statements.
