Problem Note 3137: ODS HTML incorrectly wraps numeric columns with negative values
In output from ODS HTML, a column that has negative values with the
DOLLARW.D format applied incorrectly wraps after the negative sign (-).
The browser erroneously believes the negative sign is a hyphen.
When the negative sign is in the first position, SAS internally applies
the NOWRAP option to those cells that have negative numbers. In a case
where the DOLLARw.d format is applied, the $ prevents the detection of
the negative sign, so the NOWRAP does not occur.
The only circumvention is to choose a different format to display the
values.
This problem has been fixed in release 8.2.
