Problem Note 3007: Attempting to copy like name catalogs to a Version 6 library deletes
existing catalogs
Like named catalogs are deleted from a V6 library when an attempt is
made to copy from a Version 8 library to a Version 6 library. Version 8
catalogs cannot be copied backwardly to Version 6. When this is
attempted, an appropriate error is generated in the SAS log. However, if
there are catalogs in the Version 8 library with the same name as
catalogs in the Version 6 library, the Version 6 catalogs of the same
name are deleted inappropriately.
