Problem Note 2616: "ERROR: Unable to initialize graphic subsystem" might be received when
displaying a DATALISTC/N window
If you attempt to invoke the DATALISTC/N windows from a SAS Component
Language (SCL) program on the mainframe using a non-graphics terminal or
a terminal emulator not set for graphics emulation, you might receive
the following error:
Unable to perform function. Program halted due to an internal error.
The following errors will also be written to the SAS Log:
ERROR: Unable to initialize graphic subsystem.
ERROR: Unable to create object MSG. Region has been emptied.
ERROR: Unable to load SASOGTL. Invalid argument.
To circumvent the problem, set your terminal or terminal emulator to run
with graphics, when possible.
