When using the SAS Access LIBNAME engine to read a DBMS table into the
SAS System V8.0 or V8.1 that contains column names where the first 32
characters are not unique, the following error is generated:

   ERROR: This DBMS table or view cannot be accessed by the SAS System
   because it contains column names that are not unique when a SAS
   normalized (uppercased) compare is performed.  See "Naming
   Conventions" in the SAS/ACCESS documentation.

With PROC SQL pass-thru statements, the first unique column is
truncated, but subsequent unique columns are named _COL1, _COL2.
The SAS System Version 8 is not using unique naming conventions the SAS
System V6.12 did.

This is fixed in SAS V8.2.
