Problem Note 1880: "Command Line Too Long?" Generated When Starting SAS Under UNIX
When starting the SAS System Version 8 under UNIX, SAS users may receive
the follwing error message:
Command line too long? 1001 characters.

The reason for the above error message is that the total length of the
SAS command line is limited to 1000 characters.
