Problem Note 1867: _delFormat method may not work with Format classes
The _delFormat method used by the Numeric Format Class, the Character
Format Class and the Format/Informat Class in SAS/AF Software may not
delete an existing format or informat. This may become apparent if you
attempt to recreate an existing format or informat within a single
SAS/AF session as you will not see the updated format strings unless you
exit your SAS/AF application and subsequently restart it.
