ERROR: Too many variables defined for file libref.dsname.
This file may not have more than nnn variables.
WARNING: The data set libref.dsname was only partially opened
and will not be saved.
The problem has been corrected in release 8.1. There is no
circumvention for this problem in Version 7 and release 8.0.
