Problem Note 1562: SOCKET access method not clearing buffers in SAS version 8
When using the SOCKET access method, the internal buffers are not
cleared when reporting the hostname or ip address in the SOCKET server's
log.
If one client's hostname or ip address is longer than a previous
client's hostname or address, the hostname or ip address is truncated in
the server's log.
If one client's hostname or ip address is shorter than the previous
client's hostname or address, the hostname or ip address is fully
displayed in the server log. However, the information also contains
garbage which is left over from the previous client's longer name or
address.
