Problem Note 1435: Some or all of SAS System files are expired on OpenVMS
In Version 7 and 8 of the SAS System, the expiration date on some
if not all of the files that compose the SAS System are expired. This
will not be a problem unless you have a utility on your system that
removes expired files.
To circumvent the problem, execute the following 2 commands:
$ SET FILE/NOEXPIRATION_DATE disk:[dir]SASx.dir
$ SET FILE/NOEXPIRATION_DATE disk:[dir.SASx...]*.*;*
where disk and dir represent the installed location of the SAS System
and x represents the version number.
