Problem Note 1090: Characters may be incorrectly inserted or removed in Data Table
In a SAS/AF FRAME application using the Data Table or Table Editor class
with in_cell_controls turned off, if you double-click in the active cell
to edit a data value, you may see one or more of these behaviors.
If you use the Backspace key to remove characters individually, the
characters may be removed one by one starting with the second to the
last character regardless of where the cursor is located.
If you press the space bar, Delete key, or the left or right arrow keys,
the cursor may jump to the last character within the cell. The last
character will also be removed if you've used the space bar or Delete
key.
If you begin entering characters and the Insert key is turned off,
the new characters will first replace the last letter of the original
value and then will be appended to the end of the existing value. If
the insert key is turned on, the new characters will be inserted within
the existing value between the second to the last and last characters.
You can circumvent this problem by turning on in_cell_controls.
