Problem Note 811: SAS/ACCESS to INFORMIX truncates data when inserting values
SAS/ACCESS Interface to Informix may truncate data while inserting
values exceeding the length of the Informix column.
This type of insertion should fail when DBFORCE=NO is in effect.
However, DBFORCE=NO is ignored and therefore is not in effect.
To circumvent this problem, do not exceed the INFORMIX column length
when inserting values using SAS/ACCESS Interface to INFORMIX.
