Usage Note 788: Value in computed column may be truncated within a Data Form object
The value displayed in a character computed column in a Data Form object
within a SAS/AF FRAME application may be truncated if the computed
column was created by dragging Make Computed Column from the Column
Window. For example, you may have first created a Text Entry control
and then used your mouse to drag Make Computed Column onto the control.
In this case, a length of 8 is used for the computed column which may be
less than is needed to display the full value of the column.
To circumvent the problem, edit the object attributes for the data form
and select Customize Columns. Select the computed column in the Columns
list box and then select Edit under Computed Columns. In the Computed
Columns window, change the length from 8 to an appropriate length. You
may need to recompile your model SCL at this point.
